On the 6th of August we had a real Olympian in our class. He wasn't from N.Z, he was from the Cook Islands and he went to the Olympics in 1988. He also carried the Olympic torch in 2000.His name was William but we just called him Bill. He told us all about his early life and that running stopped his asthma and that he was quite fat when he was young. He was so surprised when he was called to the Olympics.He didn't win a medal but back then they all got something. He brought his Olympics torch and his little medals.He was so cool!!!!
